More low fall flows, more surfing Dave’s Wave in Thornton. It’s pretty much the only game in town these days, but lately it’s been flowing decently, peaking around 160-200 cfs. The peak is earlier on the wave than it is on the gauge; peak flows usually arrive at the wave around 3pm-4pm. It makes for good afternoon surf sessions on the weekends, but if you’re trying to catch it after work on a weekday you’ll get the backside of peak. Nice to be surfing in October though.
